‘Intosomnia’ is a spiritual journey of a character, and also a self-healing experience for the artist. The words ‘Insomnia’ and ‘Somnia’ are combined to describe the feeling of ‘gazing at the darkness and seeing illusions while awake’, or the situation between dreaming and awakening like meditation. Tze Long transformed her real life inspirations into an ethereal, sentimental ritual. ‘Yang’ is one of the works which will be exhibited in the Cheung Chau Art Festival. The photography explores and redefines the presence of ‘yin-yang’.

The Possible Path to Isonomia invites participants as ‘Witness’ in a raw defined public/spiritual space . ‘Maybe we are the only dominator of our own inner selves. While we understood how the dominating existed, we can be conscious of the freedom under domination, and eliminate the domination part “To isonomia / independent……”.’ The presence of ‘feminine drowning’ at Tung Wan Beach is about ‘longing for the origin among a top-down world’ and the belief in acceptance and devotion without ego.’

Intosomnia是虛構人物的靈性旅程，也是一個藝術家的自我修復經驗。 ‘Insomnia’和 ‘Somnia’這兩個詞結合起來，成為一個自創詞，形容「尚未入眠，閉眼凝神時看見黑中帶彩雜訊的片刻」。她將現實生活中的靈感變成一個空靈而感性的儀式。 ‘Yang’是Intosomnia系列中唯一在長洲藝術節展出的作品，重新探索與定義「陰陽」的存在。

Isonomia的可能途徑是參與者在一個重新定義的公共與精神空間中作為「見證」。「或許 自身才是自身內在的支配者。當悟對自身的支配、被統治下的「自由」，消除統治 - 無支配。」在東灣海灘，渴望在「由上而下的世界」中的片刻臨在，可以以「陰性溺水」讓您感受對無私的接受和奉獻的信任。

AU Tze Long sees photography as a sublimation from reality to spirituality. A graduate of the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, she was awarded a scholarship through the Julian Lee Asia One Photographic Awards in 2017. Her first photo-book Intosomnia was published in 2018, and in 2018-19 she held solo photography exhibitions in Hong Kong and Tainan, Taiwan. Au is also an indie singer in two bands - Carame/ and Artichoke Heart -- her music interests are diverse, from dream pop to improvising ritual chant.

區子朗 以人像攝影為溝通媒介，探討己身、他人與世界的曖昧關係，亦涉及心靈與陰性探索。為樂隊Carame／與「植物曲張」主音。2017年畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院。2018年出版小說攝影集《Intosomnia》，並於香港與台南舉辦個人攝影展。
